Purpose of the Role

Are you ready to make a significant impact at FMG? As our Client Experience Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping the client experience across the Mutual. Your leadership will drive strategic goals and create a positive, lasting impact on our clients. You'll lead a dynamic team focused on research, client insights, and loss prevention, working closely with the Client Propositions Manager – Strategy and Engagement to mobilise different teams and bring our vision to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead with Vision: Develop and drive FMG’s overall client experience programme, ensuring a consistent ‘one-team’ approach across the business.
  • Innovate and Inspire: Develop actionable insights and initiatives that create positive client experience outcomes, and secure buy-in from the wider Mutual.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with the Head of Client Strategy and Advice on implementing FMG’s loss prevention strategy and ensuring alignment and excellence with other work programmes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Industry Expertise: 5-10 years’ experience in the Financial/Insurance Industry and/or as a client experience professional.
  • People leadership: Experience in leading high performing teams.
  • Rural Insight: An understanding of working within rural NZ, with knowledge of farming and growing operations.
