FMG has an exciting opportunity for a Risk Consultant, based out of our Christchurch office (but for the right candidate we may be open to some flexibility in regard to this) responsible for helping FMG clients identify, understand and manage risk through the delivery of established site surveying practices. The aim of this service is to help our clients improve their insurable risk profile, assist in the prevention of avoidable loss and minimise business disruption. 

This role will include going onsite to client’s premises to undertake risk management assessments and provide actionable insights to help build resilience. This a role where no two days will be the same and is a vital component of FMG’s wider Loss Prevention Strategy.

We are looking for someone with –

• 5+ years in risk consulting services or associated practices within the insurance and financial services sector. 
• Experience within the agriculture / horticulture and supporting industries
• Proven ability to provide risk surveying and management advice 
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude; with a never-ending commitment to ensuring FMG’s ongoing success
• Understand the ‘insurable’ challenges faced by those within the farming and growing communities, along with those businesses that support them,
• Proven success in building strong, productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
